May is is Food Allergy Awareness Month. Food allergy awareness and research is incredibly important and relatively under-funded even as instances of allergic disease continue to increase at alarming rates for both children and adults.
There are two really important things YOU can do! You can raise awareness of the seriousness of food allergies and related conditions (because awareness truly does save lives). You can also donate money to support research toward finding a cure. This list of known and reported food allergy-related deaths is heartbreakingly long. We need a cure.
This handmade, vintage-inspired necklace and earring set with teal glass beads has been specifically created to raise funds to benefit the efforts of End Allergies Together (E.A.T.). Bidding is set to start at $90, with a goal that hopefully exceeds that many times over. To submit a bid, fill out the contact form below (or at this link) with your bid, your name, and your email address. Bidding ends at the end of the month. Highest bidder will be notified after May 31, 2019, to coordinate details.
If you don’t need jewelry, would you consider sparing a dollar—or even the cost of a latte today—on a donation to E.A.T.? Food allergy families are deeply appreciative.
Thank you so much for sharing this, for your interest, and support!
P.S. To encourage more people to share about the silent auction, I included sharing about the silent auction as an entry option in a separate giveaway for a Luna Necklace. Check it out here.
